Privacy
What this site keeps.
Plain list, taken from the site's code. No accounts, no email, no ads, no tracking.
Pledges
- When you pledge, we store your X handle, your one-line promise and the time you sent it, in Cloudflare's storage (Workers KV) for this site.
- Pledges are public. Anyone can read the list on the pledge page (newest 40 shown) and at /api/pledges.
- Sending a new pledge with the same handle replaces your old one. We do not check that the handle is yours.
- Kept until it is removed. There is no automatic expiry.
- To limit spam, the site stores a short one-way hash of your network's IP address and a counter, for at most one hour. Then it is deleted automatically. The IP address itself is not stored.
Remove a pledge
Send a message to @GrokBotToken on X with the handle to remove. We remove it by hand. Ask from the same X account where you can, so we know the request is yours.
Signing in (Claim page)
- Sign-in uses Internet Identity. It gives your browser a principal (an ID) that is only used on this site. We get no name, email or passkey.
- The sign-in session is kept in your own browser, not on our servers. Signing out clears it.
- The Claim and Receipts pages read the GBT canisters on the Internet Computer directly from your browser. Those requests go to Internet Computer nodes, not to us.
In your browser
Two small settings may be saved in your browser's local storage: which site phase to show, and whether you closed the sale banner. They never leave your device.
Analytics and logs
- No analytics. Our hosting can add a Cloudflare analytics script, but the site's security settings block it, so it sends nothing.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare handles each request (including your IP address) to deliver the page and may keep its own logs under Cloudflare's privacy policy. Our code writes no request logs of its own.
On-chain data is public and permanent
Anything on the Internet Computer, such as GBT balances, transfers, ICP deposits to the sale, claims and the canister journals, is public and cannot be deleted by us or anyone. Your principal and amounts are visible to anyone who looks. Think about that before you send anything.
Current as of October 16, 2026. Questions: @GrokBotToken.
